Why Nursery School

Play is work to a child, and the variety of play experiences enjoyed at a nursery school enrich the child’s personal investigation of a larger world - a world of wonder and ever-widening horizons.  Every experience involves the child as a whole.  He has the opportunity to interact socially with children his own age thereby developing emotionally and socially. The routines add to this learning experience and principles of self-discipline develop, together with the growing needs of others.  Language develops, conversation is encouraged, and stories are heard and told. Active participation in music and drama results in enjoyment and appreciation.

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with jealousy, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns to be confident.
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance & friendship,
He learns to find love in the world
